Analysis of seismic inversion with optimal transportation and softplus encoding

چکیده

This paper is devoted to theoretical and numerical investigation of the local minimum issue in seismic full waveform inversion (FWI). provides a mathematical analysis optimal transportation (OT) type objective function's differentiability proves that gradient obtained adjoint-state method does not depend on particular choice Kantorovich potentials. A novel approach using softplus encoding presented generalize impose OT metric FWI. improves convexity function mitigates cycle-skipping problem. The effectiveness proposed demonstrated numerically an task with benchmark Marmousi model.
